Caribbean Hold'em
Caribbean Hold'em is a fun casino game that brings some
excitement into the casino. The game is well set up
and gives you the choice of folding your hand or raising
your bet after you have seen the flop. You are playing
against the dealer which can not fold no matter what hand he
is holding. This is a great game that involves poker
knowledge, skill, strategy and some luck.
The objective of Caribbean Holdem is to make a better
poker hand than the dealer's poker hand. You will need
to place an ante bet, but you can also play for the
progressive bonus. Generally it is good idea to play
the progressive, because the regret you will feel for not
winning jackpot after a Royal Flush is not worth the dollar
you would have saved.
For the best performance, you should have the latest Adobe Flash player and the Adobe Shockwave player installed.
How to play Caribbean Hold'em
It is easy to play Caribbean Hold'em at the Instant Play
Casino with your $1000 play money bankroll. To begin
playing you will need to decide how much you want to wager
and whether or not you want to play for the progressive
bonus. If you are planning on playing the progressive
bonus you will need to click on the red lit circle so that a
gold chip will be placed on top of it. This verifies
that you are playing the $1 progressive bet.
To play the Caribbean Hold'em game you will need to
place a wager (no more than a 1/3 of your bankroll) on the
"Ante" circle. You do this by clicking on the "Ante"
circle and by clicking on the playing chips located at the
bottom right corner. When you are ready you will need
to press the "Deal" button.
Two cards
will be dealt face down for the dealer's hand, your two
cards will be dealt face up and the first three community
cards (the flop) will be dealt face up after you have
pressed the deal button. At this time you will need to
decide whether you want to fold by pressing the "Fold"
button or raise your bet by pressing the "Raise" button.
The raise bet will be twice the size of your ante bet.
After the raise bet two more community cards will be dealt
face up.
If you
folded your hand you will have lost your Ante bet. If
you have raised your bet, then one of three situations will
arise. Note: The dealer's and your poker hand will use
the five community cards and the two hole cards to make the
best possible poker hand.
(1) The dealer will not qualify (a hand worse than
a pair of fours) and you will be paid out 1:1 on your ante
bet and your raise bet will be pushed back.
(2) The dealer
will qualify and have a lesser hand than you. If this
happens you will be paid 1:1 on your raise bet and 1:1 to
100:1 on your ante bet depending on your poker hand.
You can view the Ante Bet pay out table below.
(3) The
dealer will have a qualified hand and a better hand than
you. If this happens you will lose your ante bet and
your raised bet.
If you lose the $1000
fun money bankroll you can refresh this webpage or open a
free account at the
Bovada Casino. You will have the option to play the
free mode version or play for real money at the Bovada
Casino.
